our teachers

Our teachers are central to your success and that's why are choosen very carefully. We take into account both their knowledge and as well as their personalities, so that they could meet the student's expectations.

They are all university graduates with extensive teaching experience. They have also been specifically trained to teach Polish as a foreign language. The optimal quality of teaching that we offer is reinforced through teacher's meetings, classroom observations and workshops.

Iwona Stempek I have graduated from Polish Philology at the Jagiellonian University. During my studies my key interest was literature, but I have chosen teaching, because I treasure the contact with people. I’ve been teaching Polish to foreigners since 1996. I love travelling and horse riding.

Patrycja Palka I have graduated from Polish Philology at the Silesian University in Katowice. At the moment I am doing my PhD studies in linguistics at the Jagiellonian University. I’ve been working as a teacher of Polish since 2001. I am a lively and cheerful person. My students say that during the lessons my energy and enthusiasm spread to the others, which makes it easier to learn Polish. Attention!!! As you can see in the picture, I am very strict as well!!!

Anna Stelmach I have graduated from Polish Philology at the Jagiellonian University. I’ve been working as a teacher of Polish for foreigners since 1997. I am interested in film, advertising, fantasy literature and sailing. I like spending time in an active way outside the city.

Agnieszka Jasinska Since my graduation from the Roman Philology at the University of Pedagogy in Krakow I have worked as a teacher of Polish, Italian and French. I am a co-author of textbooks for learning Polish entitled ‘PO POLSKU’. I love learning languages, travelling, books by Jerzy Pilch and Olga Tokarczuk, music - American folk-rock, British guitar sounds and modern dance music, especially the one from France. I prefer cats to dogs.

Aneta Szymkiewicz In 1997 I have graduated from the Department of Polish Philology at the Jagiellonian University and a year after I started teaching Polish as a foreign language. I am a co-author of the textbook “Hurra!!!” PO POLSKU 1"(M. Malolepsza, A. Szymkiewicz, 2006), prepared within the UE project Socrates Lingua 2. I am interested in contemporary Polish literature, languages, club music and photography. In my free time I like dancing and roller-blading.

Sylwia Dawidek I have graduated from Polish Philology at the University of Lódz and Speech Therapy at the University of Pedagogy in Krakow. I’ve been teaching Polish as a foreign language for three years. I am interested in the culture of Far East, film, antiquarianism and art. In my free time I make artistic craftswork.

The classes are always held in 8 spacious, bright rooms equipped with tape recorders, DVD/video players, overhead projectors and white boards. The chairs with fold-up desk tops make the contact with the teacher and other students in the group easier.
